Do not be afraid to respond generously to the Lord because He is never outdone in generosity! I have seen this time and again in my journey to answer God’s call in my life. Growing up at Christ the King parish, in Ann Arbor, I first began to dive into my faith in middle school and early high school. A critical moment came in prayer on a retreat, when I heard Jesus say to me that He wanted me to be fully His. It hit me right in the gut, because I thought I was already trying to be His, but He convicted me in that moment that He had so much more in store! After I graduated from Father Gabriel Richard High School in 2012, I spent the next 4 years as a seminarian for this Diocese, until the Lord invited me to leave seminary. I then spent 4 years as a missionary evangelizing college students, until this past year, when Jesus invited me to return to studying for the Priesthood. I’m overjoyed to be back in the Diocese of Lansing, and continue to be amazed at the places the Lord will take us if we are willing to say Yes to Him!"
