Palm Sunday is the Sunday before Easter Sunday where we celebrate Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem when palm branches were placed in his path. The tradition of covering the path of someone entering the city showed that they were due the highest honor. On Palm Sunday, we honor Christ the King who will triumph over sin and death.
