So what exactly is Proposal 3? Here's Rebecca Mastee, Policy Analyst and Attorney with the Michigan Catholic Conference, with all you need to know about the proposed amendment to the Constitution of the State of Michigan that has been crafted by Planned Parenthood and the ACLU, among others, and that will be voted upon this November.

In total, the proposers of the Proposal 3 Constitutional Amendment identify eight out of the 12 articles of the Constitution of the State of Michigan that will have to be altered or, in part, repealed if Proposal 3 is approved by voters in November.

They identify these articles as: Article 1, Declaration of Rights; Article III General Government; Article IV, Legislative Branch; Article V, Executive Branch; Article VI, Judicial Branch; Article VIII, Education; Article IX Finance and Taxation; and Article XI, Public Officers and Employment.
