Today is the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Happy feast day! Prayerful devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus goes back to, at least, the 11th century. What difference does it make to our own lives, though, in the 21st century?
“The daily difference of knowing the Sacred Heart, inviting the Sacred Heart into our lives and having it be, really, the aim of our lives is simply that it’s actually the core of why we are created – we are created to have a heart exactly like Jesus, pierced yet acting still in love,” says Taylor Feldpausch, founder of the Westphalia-based Enthroned Ministry, June 19.
