Of your charity, please pray for the repose of the soul of Father David Hudgins, Judicial Vicar of the Diocese of Lansing and Pastor of Saint Joseph Shrine in Brooklyn, who was killed in a car accident this morning. He was 53-years-old. May he rest in peace.
The fatal incident occurred just before 8.30am on U.S. 127 between Page Avenue and South Street in Jackson County. Father Hudgins was the only occupant of his vehicle. No other vehicles were involved. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Father Hudgins' family have been informed of the tragic news. Please keep them, and all who mourn Father Hugdins, in your prayers in the days to come. Let us pray:

and let perpetual light shine upon him.
