Bishop Earl Boyea was open to question at Theology on Tap on Monday, 18 November, as young adults from across the Diocese of Lansing asked him questions on faith, morals, food, politics, books, and more besides.
“Thank you to Bishop Boyea for making the time to meet with the young adults at Theology on Tap and for answering an hour’s worth of questions on a wide range of topics with great candor, humor and spiritual wisdom,” said Jacob Kanclerz, one of the organizers of the event held at the Lansing Brewing Company.
Theology on Tap is a popular way for young adults to learn more about the Catholic faith within a relaxed and enjoyable social setting and, often, with a beer in hand.
Over 60 minutes, Bishop Boyea encouraged the young adults to make time in their day for prayer, to foster a particular love of the Holy Mass and Holy Rosary, and to be steadfast in their faithfulness to Jesus Christ and his Holy Church.
The next Diocese of Lansing Theology on Tap event will take place on Tuesday, 21 January at the Spartan Hall of Fame Cafe in East Lansing, beginning at 6:30 p.m. All are very welcome.
