The Catholic Committee on Scouting has a policy for the Girl Scout materials; one must be trained in the materials before obtaining them. If one is trained they can call the Office of Youth Ministry to obtain the materials at 517-342-2465.

The Light of Christ
The Light of Christ program is designed to help first and second grade Cub Scouts develop a personal relationship with Jesus. With the parents’ active assistance and participation is this program, each Tiger and Wolf Cub Scout will come to see Jesus as a real person and his friend. The program emphasis is on the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, and Eucharist.
Parvuli Dei Award
Parvuli Dei means “Little Children of God”. This program is designed to help Bear and Webelos Cub Scouts explore a wide range of activities with their families in order to discover the presence of God in their daily lives. As a special part of God's creation, each boy learns what it means to be a member of God's family and of his own family, and about how to care for one another.
Ad Altare Dei Award
Ad Altare means “Toward the Altar of God.” Helped by a certified counselor, Boy Scouts and younger Venture Scouts learn to grow as Catholics. Scouting's values and family life are used as a starting point to understand the Sacraments. Scripture readings and projects reinforce the meanings of the seven Sacraments. Special emphasis is placed on how the Sacraments can help these Scouts throughout their lives.
Light Is Life Award
The Light is Life program was developed by the National Catholic Committee on Scouting for Eastern and Byzantine Rite Boy Scouts and younger Venture Scouts. Light is Life respects the cultural and ritual differences among the various Eastern Rite Catholic Churches. The overall goal of the Light is Life program is to bring about in the Scout, through his Eastern Christian Scouting experience, a deeper awareness of his share in faith-life. Then going forth, he will witness this life through maturity in communal worship and in Christian formation of his world.
Pope Pius XII Award
Pope Pius XII had a strong devotion to the cause of lay spirituality. In this program, high school and undergraduate college-age youths, in small groups, study and discuss their roles as young Catholics in today's society. Through scripture, readings, interviews, and a prayer service, the youth can become more aware of where their Christian lives can lead in the future. The youth lead meetings with an adult serving as a facilitator. The Pope Pius XII emblem is awarded to Boy Scouts and both genders of Venture Scouts.

International Awareness Recognition
The International Catholic Conference of Scouting, a world-wide organization, offers a Pin and Patch Recognition for Cub Scouts, Brownies, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts and a Medallion and Patch Activity Recognition for Senior Scouts, Venture Scouts, and adult Scouting volunteers. Rosary Patch
The Rosary Patch Series focuses on the Mysteries of the Holy Rosary and Pray the Rosary. This is an opportunity for youth and adults to learn more about their faith. All youths and adults can work on this activity and earn the patch. This activity can be worked on individually or as a group. Duty to God Recognition
A goal of the National Catholic Committee on Scouting ® is to use the program of the Boy Scouts of America to instill in our Catholic adults and youth the tenets of their Catholic Faith. Towards this end, a beautifully designed patch is made available to those who assist in accomplishing this goal – titled "Duty to God". The patch is not only colorful, but also is fully embroidered showing the symbols or our Catholic faith – crosier, cross, shield, and youth ministry commitment, intertwined with the Boy Scout logo. This is not an award, but rather a recognition, and as such there are no set "requirements" to complete. It is to be used to recognize those for their contribution and support to Catholic Scouting. There are many situations in which this recognition can be made, and limited only by one’s ideas.

Saint George Emblem
The Saint George Emblem is a national recognition approved by the National Catholic Committee on Scouting. This emblem extends recognition, honor, and gratitude to those persons who have demonstrated outstanding contribution to the spiritual development of youth in the program of the Boy Scouts of America.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Medal
An award inaugurated in 1980 to recognize the meritorious contributions of adults who serve Catholic youth through girl's organizations. This medal affirms the work of those who help youth develop their spiritual lives within the context of that organization.

Saint Anne Medal
The Saint Anne Medal is an award initiated in 1957 by the United States Catholic Conference. Any adult, who has contributed notable service developing girl's activities and who has demonstrated a willingness to serve as a leader of these activities for not less than five years is eligible for this medal.

Bronze Pelican Award
The Bronze Pelican Award is a locally optional award by the National Catholic Committee on Scouting. This emblem is to recognize outstanding contributions to all Catholic youth.

Unit Awards
National Catholic Quality Unit Award – Pope Paul VI
Cooperation, development, and program are the key words in the recognition of Catholic chartered units in earning the National Catholic Quality Unit Award - Pope Paul VI. The adult leadership responds to training not only in Scoutinglores, but training in Catholic Scouter Development, and religious counseling. The Scouts in each Pack, Troop, Team, and Crew/Ship respond by participating in the religious emblems program respective of their status in Scouting.
