Jenny Ingles is the Director for Natural Family Planning in the Diocese of Lansing where she coordinates Natural Family Planning programs throughout the diocese. She also assists couples in choosing the right method of Natural Family Planning for their life circumstance and helps them troubleshoot any problems that they may have using NFP. In addition, she is a Creighton Model FertilityCare Practioner where she teaches couples how to understand, chart and make procreative and gynecological decisions using the Creighton Model FertilityCare System. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hope College with a dual degree in Political Science and Sociology with an emphasis in Criminal Justice.
Jenny serves her apostolate under the guiding philosophy that God, through the human body, sacred scripture, papal writings and Church documents, has revealed His plan for human sexuality, marriage and family life, conjugal love and conscious parenthood. This revelation must be accurately, lovingly and resolutely proclaimed to the married and engaged couples within the diocese in both education and pastoral care. In order to effectively accomplish this, diocesan administrators, method teachers, healthcare professionals, clergy and the laity (especially married couples) must work concordantly to assist couples in understanding the teachings of the Church on Natural Family Planning and effective ways of living out those teachings throughout all stages of life.
Jenny lives on a farm with her husband and two children and assists her home parish as a Catechist for their Level I and Level II Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Atria.
