On Saturday, June 20, 2015 Fr. Bob Bacik, Fr. David Fons and Fr. Zach Mabee were ordained to the priesthood for service to the Diocese of Lansing. The Ordination Mass, celebrated by Bishop Earl Boyea at St Mary Cathedral was concelebrated by Lansing Bishop Emeritus Carl Mengeling, Bishop Steven J Raica of the Diocese of Gaylord and many priests of the diocese. The new priests begin their new assignments this summer - Fr. Bacik at St. John the Evangelist, Davison; Fr. Fons at St. Gerard, Lansing; and Fr. Mabee at St. John Vianney, St. Matthew, St. Mary and St. Michael Parishes, Flint.
