Watch: Littlest Saints | Church of the Resurrection School celebrates All Saints' Day 2025

This is superb! Watch below as the children of Church of the Resurrection School in Lansing celebrate All Saints' Day 2025 with much fervor, faith, and fun!

“It’s amazing to see what God cultivates in their hearts and minds when they hear the story of a saint and emulate that saint and really make that saint a part of their own family of saints,” explains school principal, Jacob Allstott, October 31.

And then just to see the joy and the happiness that they carry throughout the day, as they get to feel a little foretaste of what heaven is like.”

All Saints’ Day commemorates all those who have attained the beatific vision in Heaven. It precedes All Souls’ Day on November 2, which specifically commemorates the departed faithful who have not yet been purified and reached Heaven.

The Catholic Church celebrates All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day in the fundamental belief that there is a prayerful spiritual communion between those in a state of grace who have died and are now in Heaven, the Church Triumphant; those in a state of grace who have died but are being purified in Purgatory, the Church Penitent; and those of us still working out our salvation here on earth, the Church Militant.
