Invitation: Holy Mass offered by Cardinal Raymond Burke | Lansing, Saturday, March 22, 2025

You are cordially invited to attend Holy Mass offered by His Eminence Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke at Saint Mary Cathedral, Lansing, at 4pm on Saturday, March 22, 2025.

The Mass will conclude a day of events to honor the life and legacy of Terri Schiavo on the 20th anniversary of her tragic death by government-sanctioned starvation. From 1pm onwards there will be a special exhibit in Saint Mary Parish Hall shedding light on her story, offering an opportunity for reflection, remembrance, and education. Members of Terri’s family will be in attendance and will be happy to engage in conversation.

Attendance at the 4pm Vigil Mass offered by Cardinal Burke fulfills the Sunday obligation. The day of events is organized and sponsored by Catholic Healthcare International.

Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke was the Bishop of La Cross, Wisconsin, from 1995 to 2004, and Archbishop of Saint Louis, Missouri, from 2004 to 2008. From 2008 to 2014, he was the prefect of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura in Rome. He currently serves Episcopal Advisor of Catholic Healthcare International.
