About the Speaker - Dr. Claudia Sadowski

 Of Mexican origin with a US dual citizenship, is an international speaker with expertise in sociolinguistics, has a strong connection to the Hispanic  community and their Catholic faith. Through her academic journey, she earned a Ph.D. in Linguistics from Purdue University with an award-winning dissertation on the identity and linguistic and cultural diversity of Hispanics in the United States.

Since 2004 she has been dedicated to evangelization activities and promotion of Hispanic communities in different regions of different Dioceses. International speaker on issues related to Hispanic identity and culture. She was referred to as Woman without Borders by the Mexican Association of Women Business Leaders (AMMJE). Due to the great contribution of her studies to the understanding of the migratory and multicultural phenomenon of the Hispanic communities within the United States, Dr. Claudia Sadowski has been nominated and recently received the Doctorate Honoris Causa by the Claustro Iberoamericano.

Dr. Sadowski has explored the intersection of language, culture, and faith, particularly focusing on the identity of Hispanics in the United States. Dr. Sadowski's work sheds light on the significance of the Catholic faith within the Hispanic cultural framework. She actively engages with the community  through her involvement with all Hispanics and mentors in Pastoral Juvenil. Additionally, Dr. Sadowski facilitates various transformative events such as retreats, workshops, and congresses, encouraging participants to embrace their cultural heritage and strengthen their spiritual journeys. Her facilitation skills, combined with her expertise in sociolinguistic and cultural identity, create an enriching environment for attendees. As an international speaker, Dr. Sadowski inspires individuals to embrace their cultural identities, foster unity, and deepen their connection to their Catholic faith in today's complex world. Currently, Dr. Claudia Sadowski works as Intercultural Ministry Coordinator, at the Diocese of Gary in Indiana.

 She is happily married for 32 years and together with her husband Jim, they live a life of mission and service. They have 3 daughters and 7 grandchildren.
