Diocese of Lansing seminarian, Brian Armbrustmacher, says his path to the sacred priesthood began during his 8th Grade while attending Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament on retreat.
"I just remember seeing the priest elevating the monstrance with the Blessed Sacrament and hearing a voice in the back of my head saying 'you could do that'," says 24-year-old Brian who hails from the parish of Most Holy Trinity in Fowler.
"And that kind of freaked me out at the time but praying with it, and throughout high school, there was an attraction and seeds were planted, for sure."
Brian is now a student at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit. Please do keep him in your prayers in the months and years to come. Saint Charles Borromeo, patron of seminarians, pray for him.
