Rev Francis E "Frank" Williams entered eternal life on Saturday, December 5, 2015. He was 90 years old, born December 2, 1925 in Flint, Michigan.
Father Williams is survived by his sisters, Gwendolyn Burrell of Inverness, FL, and Barbara Hemingway-Jones of Davison, MI.
Father Williams was ordained in April, 1977 by Bishop Kenneth Povish, after completing priesthood studies at Pope Saint John XXIII Seminary in Weston, Mass.
After ordination he was appointed Parochial Vicar (Associate Pastor) at St Paul, Owosso, 1977-79.
He was appointed Pastor of St Joseph Parish, Adrian in 1979, where he served until reaching Senior Priest status in 1994.
Visitation will be 3:00 - 8:00pm, Thursday, December 10, with a Vigil Service at 7:00pm at St Paul Church, 111 N. Howell Street., Owosso.
The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am, Friday, December 11, at St Paul, Owosso with Bishop Boyea presiding. Interment will be at New Calvary Cemetery, Flint.
