The seminarians of the Diocese of Lansing joined together over the weekend of August 14-16 for their annual Summer Gathering at Bethany House, DeWitt. It was a great experience for all and included prayer and talks on spirituality as well as sports, cards and ice cream! After receiving seminarian Eric Spore into candidacy for Holy Orders at Mass on Sunday morning, Bishop Boyea and the seminarians then welcomed 70 young men in the afternoon for a day of fellowship, prayer, and some grilled burgers and brats. Please keep all of these men in your prayers, those headed to the seminary in September and those discerning seminary.
