The Ann Arbor 40 Days for Life kickoff rally is Sept. 26 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the University of Michigan DIAG, located in front of the Hatcher Graduate Library, in the center of the Ann Arbor campus.The featured speaker will be Monica Migliorino Miller, nationally known pro-life leader, speaker and author of Abandoned: The Untold Stories of the Abortion Wars. Miller is a pioneer and veteran of pro-life activism, and founder of Citizens for a Pro-Life Society. In addition to her pro-life leadership, Miller is an associate professor of religious studies at Madonna University having earned her doctorate at Marquette University.
The University of Michigan Students For Life, who are hosting the rally, will be on the DIAG from noon to 5 p.m. for an afternoon of pro-life activism, as they strive to fulfill their mission to promote and defend the dignity and protection of all human life from conception until natural death.
