Sacred Heart Church in Hudson was nearly full for all three performances of “The Voices of Christmas” Cantata presented by the Hudson Community Choir. More than 70 singers and 12 musicians from 30 churches came together to prepare for the coming of the Lord.
Rejoice! Rejoice! The voices were … Mary, Joseph, the caring minister, the volunteer, the child laughing, heaven, creation and the star … the voices were many. As the angelic choir sang, it seemed as if it was singing directly to God thanking him for the gift of his Son.
St. Mary on the Lake, Manitou Beach, parishioner Linda Love said, “This is my 8th year in the cantata and I look forward to many more … it is an incredible way to get the true meaning of Christmas.”
