Nearly 3,000 students faculty and staff of the Catholic Schools of the Lansing Region gathered for Mass at the Lansing Center on Tuesday, April 23. Rev. Steven Mattson, Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the diocese, was joined by the pastors and parochial vicars of the 13 Catholic schools of the region. This was the first time that all of the students of the area Catholic schools had gathered together for Mass.
Schools in attendance were: St Mary, Charlotte; St Thomas Aquinas, East Lansing; Holy Trinity, Fowler; St Michael, Grand Ledge; Immaculate Heart of Mary / St Casimir, Lansing; Resurrection, Lansing; St Gerard, Lansing; Lansing Catholic Central High School; St Martha, Okemos; St Paul, Owosso; St Joseph, St Johns; St Mary, Westphalia; and, St Mary, Williamston.
