With deep gratitude, the Diocese of Lansing joyfully announces that the Stewardship for Saints & Scholars campaign has now surpassed $45 million in pledges and gifts. This milestone reflects the tremendous generosity and shared commitment of our Catholic community to strengthen faith formation and Catholic education across the Diocese. Thank you! God bless you!
Nearly 8,000 families have contributed to the campaign, and all 71 parishes have either completed their efforts or are actively taking part in the appeal process. Together, parishioners, pastors, and volunteers are investing in the future of our Church — ensuring that every child and family has access to excellent, faith-filled formation.
The Stewardship for Saints & Scholars campaign was launched to invest in people and mission. Its goal is to form saints and scholars by supporting those who teach, form, and accompany the faithful. The campaign is built on four key priorities that guide every gift:
* On Mission – Attracting, forming, and retaining excellent and faith-filled teachers and administrators.
* Affordable – Expanding tuition assistance so that a Catholic education is within reach for more families.
* Accessible – Providing resources and services for students with special needs, ensuring that every child can flourish in our schools.
* Local Initiatives – Returning a portion of campaign funds to parishes for their own projects in education, faith formation, and ministry.
Surpassing the $45 million mark is more than a financial accomplishment — it is a celebration of faith in action. Each gift, large or small, represents a family’s commitment to forming the next generation of saints and scholars. Together, we are building a legacy that will shape Catholic education and discipleship for years to come.
