It’s been a whirlwind couple of years for Jozie Pinkowski. In 2020 she was received into the Catholic Church. A year later she graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Elementary Education. This year Jozie finished her student teaching in public schools.
“After spending my student teaching in a public school and spending a lot of my time during my undergrad in these in public schools, it really showed me the importance of Catholic school and allowing ourselves to provide students with the immersion of the Catholic faith,” says Jozie.
Hence, this week, Jozie is happy to begin work as the new 5th Grade Math, Religion and Social Studies teacher at Saint Thomas Aquinas Parish School in East Lansing. Deo gratias! Please keep Jozie and her students in your prayers in the days and months to come. Saint Thomas Aquinas, pray for them!
