Watch as two dear friends of Bishop Carl Mengeling (1930 – 2025) RIP offer prayers and reminiscences of the late Emeritus Bishop of Lansing who died last week, July 1. May he rest in peace. Monsignor Michael Murphy, above left, was Bishop Moderator of the Curia from 1997 to 2011. Monsignor Robert Lunsford, above right, was Chancellor from 1999 to 2005. Both were close collaborators of Bishop Mengeling during his time at the helm of the Diocese of Lansing from 1996 to 2008.
