St Joseph parish festival

Father Brendan, St. Joseph’s pastor, stated that the festival began 35 years ago as a fundraiser for Vietnam refugees and evolved into an annual parish event. This year St. Joseph Parish kicked-off its festival with the music of Three Men and a Tenor and a Teen Cafe.
Dan Beauchamp and Jim Zeitunian, co-chairs, and Jill Beauchamp and Chris Burke, publicity, worked hard to make this festival enjoyable for all those who attended.
Steve and Dina Korte, who have been in charge of the children’s tent for five years, said that it’s a time for kids and families to be together and have fun.
Those attending enjoyed the singing and comedy acts. Other events included a car show, 5K run, and a variety of food and entertainment. By Jan Hoffbauer
