Congratulations to the Diocese of Lansing’s multi-media journalist, Matt Riedl, pictured, upon winning three prestigious Telly Awards, a global media competition which attracts over 12,000 entries from 6 continents and all 50 states. Deo gratias!
“Matt Riedl combines a great personal faithfulness to the person of Jesus Christ and his Holy Church with a great professional ability, the results of which are beautiful, powerful stories that draw souls to Christ through the medium of film,” said the Diocese of Lansing’s Director of Communications, David Kerr, May 21.

The Telly Awards honor excellence in video and television across all screens. Founded in 1979 the Telly Awards recognize outstanding achievement across a range of mediums including local, regional and cable television as well as branded content, documentary, and social media.
The three film projects for which Matt Riedl was awarded a Telly Award 2024 in the Religion Category were:
