Legatus Great Lakes Marriage and Family Assembly

Legatus, an international organization of Catholic business leaders and their spouses committed to studying, living and spreading the faith, held a Legatus Great Lakes Marriage and Family Assembly on June 3, 2015, at The Inn at St. John’s in Plymouth, Michigan. Legatus members attended from the six Great Lakes Region Chapters: Ann Arbor, Detroit, Detroit Northeast, Grand Rapids, Lansing and Toledo. In addition to approximately 300 Legatus members and clergy, also attendees also included Legatus Founder Tom Monaghan, Legatus Executive Director John Hunt, and Great Lakes Regional Director Nancy Haskell.
The event featured a Bishops’ Panel Discussion on Marriage and Family, with panelists including Archbishop Allen Vigneron of the Archdiocese of Detroit, Bishop David Walkowiak of the Diocese of Grand Rapids, and Toledo Diocese Bishop Daniel Thomas. Bishop Earl Boyea of the Diocese of Lansing served as the master of ceremonies for the discussion.

Legatus is an international non-profit organization founded in 1987 by Tom Monaghan, founder of Domino’s Pizza and more recently Ave Maria University and Law School.  Legatus comprises Catholic CEOs, presidents, business owners, managing partners/directors and spouses whose mission is to study, live and spread the faith in their business, professional and personal lives.
