Invitation: Pueri Cantores Michigan Choral Festival | March 15, 2025

All Catholic youth choirs, grades 4-12, from both parishes and schools, are warmly invited to participate in the upcoming Pueri Cantores Michigan Choral Festival, to be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, Ann Arbor.

“Pueri Cantores is the international student choral organization of the Church,” explains Father James Conlon, Pastor of Saint Francis of Assisi.

“As a long time member of the American Federation, St. Francis Parish is proud to host this regional festival for the first time. Our mission is to evangelize and catechize our young people through the medium of sacred music- helping them to grow in their faith and rooting them ever deeper in Christ and his Church.”

The Festival will be led by guest conductor Paul French, who, in addition to being a composer and parish music director, is also president of the American Federation of Pueri Cantores, and the 2024 winner of the NPM Pastoral Musician of the Year award.

The day will begin at 11am with a workshop/rehearsals, and conclude with Holy Mass at 5pm, which friends and family are welcome to attend. Repertoire is varied, with an emphasis on pieces that can be used for parish or school events.

Registration deadline is February 15. For more information and to register, see the festival brochure: https://pcchoirs.org/2025-michigan-youth-choral-festival.
