Helping a family rebuild their lives

The Redman family awoke to a massive fire in their home on Feb. 12. Chad Redman and his son Christian were able to help get the other six family members out of their house alive. What the family now needs are prayers and support in rebuilding their home and lives.
Two of the children, Callie and Chloe, had the worst injuries. Callie suffered severe smoke inhalation and as a result suffered cyanide poisoning. Chloe has third and fourth degree burns, and remains in the University of Michigan Hospital. She will need multiple surgeries and physical therapy.
Alyssa and Madison Sniegowki, St. Mary on the Lake, Manitou Beach, parishioners wanted to do something to help their classmates. The Sniegowki family decided to host a bake sale after Mass. Their mother, Devon, set up tables filled with baked goods for the parishioners to buy. The St. Mary on the Lake parishioners were more than generous with their donations. Devon had church members and family members from Michigan and Ohio donate items. Matt Sniegowki, their father, sold items at the Dana Corporation where he worked.
