Diocese of Lansing’s Catholic Women’s Conference

This year the Catholic Women’s Conference – Transforming Love – is Oct. 26 at the Best Western Plus Hotel, 6820 S. Cedar St., Lansing.  And in attendance will be 1,400 women ranging in age from teens to senior citizens.The women behind the scenes of the Lansing Diocese Women’s Conference are: Cheryl Quin, St. Joseph, Howell; Marita Martin, St. Mary, Chelsea; Deb Amato, Diocese of Lansing’s director of Ecclesial Ministries; Stacey Campbell, Old St. Patrick, Ann Arbor; Annelie Hogan, St. Michael, Grand Ledge; Kathy Medich, St. John, Fenton; Sheila Melvin, St. Catherine Labouré, Concord; Jessica Schaub, St. Therese, Lansing; and Judy Trudeau, St. Patrick, Brighton.
According to Cheryl, “Last year far exceeded our expectations. Our purpose is to do God’s work. … and it is the most awesome experience to see God working.”
