Jane Sisung of St. Johns was selected as a winner in America’s Farmers Grow Communities, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund. Grow Communities gives farmers the opportunity to win a $2,500 donation to direct to their favorite local nonprofit organizations. To further support counties that have been declared disaster areas due to drought by the United States Department of Agriculture, winning farmers in these counties were able to double the donation – a total of $5,000 – to further support the community. Clinton County was declared a disaster area giving Jane Sisung the opportunity for two $2,500 donations. Sisung selected Most Holy Trinity School and Clinton County 4H.On Feb. 1, 8:15 a.m., Most Holy Trinity School, Jane Sisung and a Monsanto representative will participate in a check presentation ceremony at the parish’s morning Mass, 545 N. Maple St., Fowler.
