Center for Bio Ethical Reform

Around twenty-five Students for Life volunteers took turns braving cold weather to stand outside at Eastern Michigan University to share the Genocide Awareness Project (GAP). The students are part of a group called the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform.
One member of the group, Jeremy Seiler said, “We decided to bring our display to this campus because of the positive impact we had from the University of Michigan. Here we have had a more negative response, but some positive. We are giving out information about the reality of abortion.”
The  volunteers handed out information stating, “In 1948, the United Nations gave genocide a legal definition; acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group.”
Ruth Van Dyken, another student member, said, “We want to tell others what abortion really is, what really happens. Every 20 seconds a baby is being aborted. One-quarter of our population is gone. I call it genocide.”
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. declared, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” These EMU students are doing their part to protect justice and life.
