On Thursday, August 28, Bishop Steven Raica was ordained as the fifth bishop of the Diocese of Gaylord, Michigan. Most Reverend Allen Vigneron, Archbishop of Detroit, was the principal consecrator; co-consecrators were Most Reverend Carl Mengeling, retired Bishop of the Diocese of Lansing, and Most Reverend Bernard Hebda, Co-adjutor Archbishop of Newark and former Bishop of Gaylord.
