February 24th – Made for Mission will gather 800 priests, deacons, and lay ministers from around the Diocese of Lansing as we begin implementing Realigning Resources for Mission. It will be a day to hear directly from Bishop Boyea about his vision, learn more about what the implementation process will look like, and a chance to refocus on being a Church on Mission and a Church focused on the worship of Jesus Christ.
Participants will not only learn about what the implementation of the Bishop’s vision will entail, they will also have the opportunity to begin conversations with other ministry leaders from their grouping, pray together with one another for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and be joined together at the altar of Jesus’ ultimate testimony of love and mercy in the Holy Mass.
Please pray for those members of your parish who will be attending, the men and women who will eventually join them in your new grouping, and for the whole Diocese as we continue to press on in the mission our Lord himself gave us.
