The Seminary is not for those who want to hide, run away, or shrink from the cross. It is for those who are willing to embrace it even though they may (and should) have some fears. The Apostles were weak men who failed often but who were nevertheless called by Christ to go and sanctify others. They chose to rise up after their failures and continue the work that Jesus had left for them. Now, Christ needs new men to rise up and take on the same work he left for those original twelve.
If you think you are called to the challenge of priesthood and want a life of joy and amazement at the power of God working in you and through you for others, then it may be time to seriously discern in seminary.
Vocation is a call to love and a response to serve God's people
