Business Manager Position

St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Ann Arbor

St. Thomas the Apostle Parish and School has an opening for a qualified and experienced Business Manager to assist the pastor in overseeing parish and school finances and operations.  This position oversees finance, human resources, administration, events, and facilities. 

Education/Experience:

At least a Bachelor's degree specializing in Accounting or Business Administration. 

A Master's Degree and experience in parish/school management or related field, or Human Resource Management certification, a plus.

3-5 years' financial, accounting, office management, and/or human resources experience.

Experience with accounting software, Microsoft Office, and databases.

Previous supervisory experience required.

Experience with facilities management a plus.

Must be Practicing Catholic.

Director of Music

St Jude, DeWitt
 
The Catholic Community of St. Jude in DeWitt, Michigan is seeking a full time (35-40 hour) Director of Music to join our collaborative staff.  We are an active, vibrant and growing parish community of 1350 households located just North of Lansing.  
 
Responsibilities include leading music for 3 weekend Masses, funerals, weddings and other special liturgies held throughout the year with our adult & hand bells choirs and a newly formed Praise Band.  Oversight is also needed for formation of cantors and parish music volunteers for funeral services as well as working with children to establish music for their special liturgies.  Skills with piano and organ are a necessity and any ability in other instrument(s) is welcome.

High School Principal

Father Gabriel Richard High School

FATHER GABRIEL RICHARD HIGH SCHOOL at 4333 Whitehall Drive in ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN, is a 9-12 school with 553 students, 39 full-time teachers, and 3 part-time teachers. Fr. Gabriel Richard is located in the northeast corner of the city of Ann Arbor in Washtenaw County, Michigan.

     The principal is the primary religious and education leader of the school.  As spiritual leader of the school, the principal is expected to nurture the faith development of the faculty and staff by providing opportunities for spiritual growth.  As educational leader, the principal provides ample opportunity for continuing education for all staff members.  The principal reports directly to the high school President and is responsible for the implementation of the mission statement of the school.

Bus Driver

Father Gabriel Richard High School, Ann Arbor

Father Gabriel Richard is looking for a part-time bus driver that can shuttle runs for athletic teams. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Drives a Father Gabriel Richard school bus, loading and unloading passengers at designated stops. Shuttles students to various locations for athletic contests in the evenings and weekends.  Insures safety and security of vehicle and passengers.  Performs routine vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance.  Prepares and maintains records and reports. Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Valid Michigan driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.  Driving experience in the transporting of passengers.  Possess a valid Michigan CDL with B, P, S endorsements and acquire a Michigan Department of Education bus driver card within three months of hire date.  Possess or be able to acquire a medical examiners certificate.  This is a part time position working during the school year, focusing on athletic school trips. Hours will vary and include evening and weekend trips.

With the unexpected passing of the CSSW President, the Board of Directors for Catholic Social Services of Washtenaw County, in partnership with the Bishop of the Diocese of Lansing, is searching for a new President to lead this non-profit organization, with an annual operating budget of $7.3M and endowment of $1.6M, as it provides sought after human services to many “clients” or service recipients by the dedicated team of employees and countless volunteers. The President will lead, administer and direct all activities of CSSW in accordance with diocesan policies and procedures and with oversight from the Board of Directors. Full Time Special Education Teacher

Organist

The faith based mental health therapist will provide clinical service and needed related services for clients who are requesting Catholic-based counseling services. This position will be filled by a faithful Catholic who is fully qualified to provide outstanding clinical and related services, and who will, where appropriate, ground the interventions and desired outcomes in Catholic values, as expressed in Scripture, in the Catechism, and elsewhere in teachings of the Catholic Church.  The mental health therapist will work, where appropriate, in a consultative relationship with a deacon and/or spiritual director to include Catholic spirituality in treating the whole person.

These jobs include cleaning, sweeping, mopping, bathroom cleaning, dusting, windows, blinds, trash removal, etc.  Mowing, snow removal, light repair, changing light bulbs, fixing toilets, etc.
